Hello lovely ladies!

 

This recipe is one of our favorites!! It is super yummy, fast and ahhhmazing! We have tried it several different ways- both in the oven and microwave (tastes the same to us) as well as with a meat/marinara sauce and also a light olive oil/seasoning sauce, so play around with it and see what you like best!

Icrecream cravings ahhhh!!!

So I have been having Icrecream cravings because my boyfriend eats Icrecream in front of me all the time, but I found a better option!!! If you get honey flavored Greek yogurt, which is delicious and add cut up strawberries and blueberries it is the perfect amount of sweetness! I add chia seeds to mine so that it gives me the superfood benefits!

What I eat for breakfast!

So a lot of you have been asking me and Ell what we eat for breakfast. Here is mine : ) Start with a plain Greek yogurt (I like Chobani and Fage) Drizzle honey on top Add a bit of wheatgerm and almond slivers for some crunch! (Confession – I do add a bit of whole grain granola with nuts and raisins) Top with whatever fruit you have (my favorites are berries, bananas, and mango!) Stir, eat, and enjoy!   It’s super easy to throw together, very filling, and can easily be made for on-the-go!

Three Seed Crunch

I saw this recipe in my Weight Watchers magazine that I thought I would share in case you want to add some tasty and healthy seeds to your favorite dishes or salads.

1/2 cup Old-Fashioned Oats

3 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed

2 Tbsp Chia Seed

2 Tbsp Raw Pumpkin, Hemp, or Sunflower Seeds

1 large egg white

1 tsp Chili Powder

1/4 tsp Salt

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Mix oats and seeds in a small bowl. Beat egg white, chili powder, and salt in a cup until blended. Add egg mixture to the seed mixture to coat. Spread seeds on pan and spray with nonstick spray. Bake until oats are golden brown and mixture is fragrant, 25 minutes, stirring one halfway through baking time. Cool in pan before use.

Shake stuff!

Ell and I tried a variation on the Reader’s Digest Shake today, and it was super neat, so we thought we’d share!

Instead of PB, use almond butter, and instead of using cocoa, use 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. = Banana Almond Cinnamon Shake!
